Just a while ago, we posted about Greenpois0n Absinthe 0.2 released for Windows and Mac users.

The new update fixes many bugs as Planetbeing has mentioned. Bugs that have been fixed include the white icons bug after the successful jailbreak of your iPhone 4S/ iPad 2 and no reboot after activating VPN or pressing the Absinthe icon on the homescreen (SpringBoard) bug.

Below you can give a read to some useful quotes!

Some of you might be wondering that should you re-jailbreak your iPhone 4S/ iPad 2 or not as there are many bug fixes in the update. According to Planetbeing, re-jailbreaking you A5 device with Greenpois0n Absinthe 2.0 would be pointless.

The reason? The update fixes will only make things run smoothly during the jailbreak process for new users who are just starting the jailbreak. The fixes are not bugs related to affecting the iPhone’s or iPad’s performance after jailbreaking it. The iPhone hacker further stated that when and if a serious bug is found in the iPhone 4S/ iPad 2 jailbreak, a Cydia package will be released to fix the error which means there would never be a need to jailbreak.

He has also offered a quick solution for blank/white icons appearing after the jailbreak which is available in this post.

Update: Absinthe v0.3 has been released for Windows and Mac. It brings minor stability improvements and bug fixes for windows32. Still, no need to re-jailbreak as these are not significant.
