In order to give players something new, Electronic arts and 38 Studios are providing them with an online pass which is included in the new copies of Kingdom of Alamur: Reckoning. This online pass allows players to unlock seven new quests in the game. You can watch the trailer of the game and now more about this news, below!

As mentioned above, the online pass that comes with the new copies of this game provides players with the chance to play seven new and unique ‘House of Valor’ faction quests inside the world featured in the game. This pass is available for the Xbox360 as well as the PS3 copies that will come to stores. This means that players of these consoles can enjoy the new quests and experience a whole new gameplay in Kingdom of Alamur: Reckoning. This content will be present in the downloaded versions for the PC. However, it hasn’t been confirmed if the same content will be provided for the players who have a secondhand copy of the game, as downloadable content. You can watch the trailer of this game below!

According to 38 Studios, it has been quoted that these seven quests were first present in the original game, but they were then taken out. The developers were first thinking of turning these seven quests as separate DLC content for players, but they decided against this and have thus, provided the same content for free to people who buy the first copies of the game.

This kind of strategy isn’t something new as many developers have provided players with different passes to provide players with unique content that add a whole new dimension in the game the content is for.

The Kingdoms of Alamur: Reckoning will be released for the Xbox360, PC and the PS3 on the 7th of February, and I will keep you updated regarding the game.
