People have always been attracted to new and improved gadgets. Companies know of this innate habit and thus, they come up with new models almost every month. This year, a lot of new Smartphone’s are going to be released and developers are doing what they can to provide the consumers with innovative products.

Below, you’ll see 10 of the most anticipated handsets which are set to be released this year and you can know for yourself why they have people waiting for them to come to stores!

HTC Edge/Endeavor

One of the handsets being launched this year is the HTC Edge/Endeavor and it looks good! This device features a sleek and attractive design along with Ice Cream Sandwich, active noise cancellation, 4.7 inch screen, 8MP auto focus camera which is capable of recording 1080p videos and it also has a quad core 1.5GHz CPU.

Fujitsu’s Smartphone

Fujitsu’s also coming into the Smartphone game this year by introducing their Android powered Smartphone that has a NVIDA Tegra3 chipset, sometime later this year. This device has respectable specs but whether it sits well with the people’s expectations? Only time can tell.

Blackberry London

Research In Motion (RIM) are also coming into the game by introducing their first QNX-powered Smartphone, the Blackberry London. The design on this device is bold and has distinct features and expectations are high regarding this handset.

HTC Titan

This device features a Windows Phone 7.5 Mango operating system, 16GB of internal storage, 512 MB of RAM, rear and front facing cameras. It also has a built-in Dolby Mobile and SRS sound management. With all of these features, this device is bound to attract consumers.

Intel’s Smartphone

As the Smartphone companies are experiencing competition, the chip makers aren’t behind either. At the CES 2012, Intel showed their first Smartphone Reference Designed and also declared their partnership with Motorola and thus, you can be sure that we’ll be seeing some awesome hardware this year.

iPhone 5

Everyone agrees that Apple has something to be proud of because of their iPhone series and the expectations from the iPhone5 are reaching sky-high. But we will have to wait to know what it’s going to look like.

The Lumina 900 By Nokia

Microsoft’s counting on the chance that Nokia will be the king of the Smartphone realm with the release of their Lumina 900. This Windows Phone 7 powered handset will feature a sleek unibody design and a 4.3 inch AMOLED screen and it has everything a handset needs to be famous!

Panasonic’s Comeback

Panasonic is returning after approximately five years. This year, they showed their Android reference design and it has caught the attention of people. This handset will be thin, NFC-enabled, waterproof, dust-proof and has a 4.3 inch OLED screen.

Galaxy S3
