The new jailbreak tool was released for only Mac users on day 1. Hacker @p0sixninja informed CultofMac that the tool was downloaded over 1 million times on the first day of its release. This shows how eagerly we all waited for its release.

We posted recently that Greenpois0n Absinthe was updated to v0.2 for Mac and Windows. We also informedyou just a while back that Absinthe v0.3 has been released for Linux users. Another tweet from @pimskeks, the iOS hacker and a member of Chronic-Dev Team, has tweeted that Absinthe v0.3 has been released for Windows and Mac.

Also version 0.3 of #Absinthe #A5 #jailbreak is available for OSX and Windows. Nothing really new, so no need to re-apply

The new update brings some small stability improvements and potential bug fixes for win32. Should you re-jailbreak your iPhone 4S/ iPad 2? There is no need as the changes are not significant.

For those who haven’t jailbroken yet, they can download Absinthe 0.3 for Windows and Mac and use it to jailbreak the iPhone 4S/ iPad 2 untethered.
